Computer operating system currently available is Windows, Linux and macOS etc. 
Mobie phone operating system available is Android, Windows and iOS. 

Function of operating system. 

The operating system is a management control program that almost includes five management functions, file management,  job management, process and processor management, device management and storage management

1. File management 

The file management of the operating system provides users with the functions of creat files, undoing files, reading and writing files, opening and closing files.

2. Job management 

The operating system is job management function is to provide users with a good environment to use the system, so that users can effectively manage their own workflows and make the overall system run easily.

3. Processor and process management 

The processor management of the operating system alternately allocates processors to programs waiting to run in the system according to some policies.

4. Device management 

The device management of the operating system is responsible for external devices, as well as controlling external devices to operate as required by the user program.
